I highly recommend Word of Mouth Dog Training.  I have been so impressed by the quick progress made by my fur babies in such a short amount of time. I will admit I was a bit apprehensive about trusting ANYONE with boarding my pups,  but Jose made me feel very comfortable and when I saw my pup at class 3 days later he showed me just how happy he was to be there and to be learning.  As a long time dog owner I have tried other training programs but never have seen results so quickly.  Not only has Jose made my dogs better, he has also made me a better dog parent and that is absolutely priceless. My wife were looking for training that would be best suited for our two corgis. The diffenrce has been night and day. They would be scared of people and get fixated on other dogs. Jose and his team are the best! My dog Finn was a wild boy (10 months).. counter surfing for food, jumping on everyone, and trying to escape anytime I opened the door. Now Finn is the best boy ever! He is so much calmer and more respectful with others. He responds to all his commands instantly and Jose even helped me with his ecollar training so I can have control over him anywhere off leash. We went to a lot of group classes to make sure I was equipped to handle him no matter what. Finn loves coming back for boarding and hanging with Greta! I met with 2 other (both highly recommended trainers) before I did my private session with Jose. I got more out of that one hour with Jose than I did with my package of 3 sessions with my other trainer. I’m very action oriented, show me, watch me do it, give me feedback. Jose did exactly that. And although it might seem strict, training that is not treat motivated, but instead praise motivated resonates way more with me. Walking away from my session I knew exactly what to practice with my dog during training, and what to change at home to improve my relationship with my pup (hello boundaries!). I’m excited to see further improvement once I am able to do group classes! If you want reasonably priced, no BS training, Jose is your guy. I also met his wife and daughter; the whole family made me feel so welcome and cared for. Husband and I entered both of our male corgis to the program and are so happy with the results. Before we were scared and anxious of taking them anywhere in fear that they would react to seeing another dog. Now we have taken them to dog parks, restaurants , malls, and anywhere else they can go and they are cool as cucumbers. I cannot say enough great things about Jose and his team of trainers at Word of Mouth Dog Training! My dog Thatcher is almost 5 and struggled with leash pulling, barking constantly, zero crate training, and not listening no matter what I tried. After just 3 weeks, he came back a completely different dog in the best way possible!

He no longer constantly pulls on walks, is fully crate trained, listens so well, and is genuinely the dream dog now. Jose and his trainers did an unbelievable job. Word of mouth training. Made an incredible  difference  in our lives!. They took our obnoxious  reactive dog  and  turned him around. He is calm quiet with  amazing leash skills. And hardly any more reactions  to dogs.  Jose and his family have all been amazing to yoshi and responsive to us.  They take the time to make sure you know what to do as an owner to insure the training sticks. We did the  16 day board  and train and will 100% be back for boarding  and with any future dogs!! Jose at Word of Mouth Training completely changed our lives! Our dog Otis was extremely reactive and fearful. We could barely leave the house with him. Car rides were awful, we had to cover our windows so he would not react to people or dogs walking by, and he even reacted to cartoon dogs on TV. He also started showing aggression toward our other dog. We had tried multiple training classes before and things were only getting worse.

After Jose’s 16 day program Otis came home like a completely different dog!! Even after the first few days we could see his confidence growing and every group class showed more progress. Other dog owners even commented on how much he had changed.

I truly never thought I would see Otis running around playing with other dogs but now he is a normal, happy dog. Jose fixed him and completely changed his life and ours. Highly recommend WOM dog training! I was at a loss with my pup. My dog had behavior and aggression issues that I was unsure how to handle. She wouldn’t listen to me at times and was an out of control pup.

I was worried Jose wouldn’t take Remi in due to her aggression issues but he helped alleviate my concerns during consultation and now 3 months since her training, she is the best pup there is! Her personality is still there and she now listens to me and other people. I can take her on hikes and pass other dogs without her going crazy. There’s still the occasional minor mishaps but when it happens, she listens right away and will go and lay in her kennel or on a mat to calm down for a bit. I am very appreciative of Jose and his team for helping Remi.
